Why We Love John Goodman
Arguably the most successful big-guy actor in Hollywood, John Goodman has made a career out of playing characters that make us swoon. He’s starred as everything from football players to a king to Fred Flinstone and the Babe to every chaser’s favorite 90’s TV dad, Dan Conner. And let’s not forget about Walter Sobchak! Is it any wonder that he’s had roles in both of the Oscar winning films of the last two years? Without further ado, here’s why we love John Goodman.
He made us swoon as our favorite cartoon daddy.
He’s strong like a bull and knows how to rock plaid.
Yet despite his blue-collar roots, he’s a refined gentleman.
In fact he’s so refined, he once played the King of England (sort of).
He’d make one helluva Jew-Bear.
He played a major gay character on TV long before it was fashionable (or risk-free).
His look is so timeless, he can even rock black and white.
And in pinstripes, he’s a total babe.
But really, why do we love him? Just look at him.
Seriously, just look at him!
We rest our case.
